The Gospel and Mental Health Conference

March 10 & 11

Dr. Ed Welch, a Christian counselor and faculty member at CCEF, will be at Community Bible Church for a one day conference. Dr. Welch earned a Ph.D. in Counseling (Neuropsychology) from the University of Utah and has a Master of Divinity degree from Biblical Theological Seminary. Ed has been counseling for over thirty years and has written many books and articles on biblical counseling, including When People Are Big and God Is Small; Addictions: A Banquet in the Grave; Blame It on the Brain?; Depression; Running Scared; Shame Interrupted; and Side by Side: Walking with Others in Wisdom and Love.

On Saturday, March 10, Dr. Welch will be presenting three sessions:
       9:00am - Anxiety
    10:30am - Depression
    12:45pm - Guilt & Shame

CBC 101 is a learning environment for anyone who would like to learn more about the history, ministry and philosophy of Community Bible Church. Anyone considering membership is strongly encouraged to attend this class. It will be held in the Foyer and a light dinner will be included.
